October 23-24, 2021

The PNWSP Fall conference in Portland, Oregon has been switched to a virtual format. We hope this will be our last virtual meeting and look forward to booking an in-person meeting in the Spring of 2022. With the restrictions of the pandemic (border closure) and after careful consideration and discussions regarding the variants, the PNWSP board of directors made the decision to make this a virtual meeting.

Message from the PNWSP President

Dear Colleague,

I am writing to you as the 2021 president of the Pacific Northwest Society of Pathologists (PNWSP) to strongly encourage you to renew your dues with the PNWSP for the 2021-2024 (three-year cycle). We appreciate your membership and participation within our society.  Dues are $100.00 per year, renewable once every three years. We encourage you to pay your dues on-line at www.pnwsp.org

The PNWSP, a not-for-profit organization, has a prominent role as a provider of pathology educational conferences, twice a year rotating between Portland, Seattle and Vancouver (when life returns to normal).  Your membership allows us to provide excellent educational programs with exceptional faculty.

Please save the date and join us virtually for the fall meeting on October 23-24, 2021 with Paul VanderLaan, MD, PhD as our keynote speaker. This meeting will also be virtual via Zoom and we look forward to your participation. We hope to be able to have an in-person conference in the Spring of 2022.

It is vital that the PNWSP maintain and strengthen its membership base. I encourage all existing members to renew their membership, and please encourage any of your colleagues who are not members to join us. Your membership dues are vital for us to invite world-renowned speakers and leaders in pathology to our local meetings.

We look forward to your support and we hope to see you at our next education meeting.

Sincerely,

Keith Loeb, MD, PhD
President
